WINNING PART 1 Be The One Family,
With 2020 behind us, and 2021 in full swing, we want to help you win this year! This is a time for new opportunities, new breakthroughs, and new goals. Look, I do not know what 2020 looked like for you. Maybe it was awesome, or maybe it was not so awesome. Regardless, God is going to do a new thing in and through you this year! Do you believe it? Over the next few weeks, I want to help you in a series I am calling: Winning.
To be honest, this title was inspired by a good friend of mine, Stephen Hill. Last year he wrote a single called Winning, and it’s a hip hop song about how when we align with God, we win! Check out his music on Spotify and Apple Music!
Here’s the first thing you need to do if you’re going to win in 2021: make spending time with God a regular part of your life.
Look at what Jesus had to say about winning in one of his most famous sermons:
Matthew 6:6 "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
In 2021, you could seek a lot of things. You could seek to make better grades, a promotion at work, or to become Tik Tok famous. While none of these things are wrong; I want to remind you to seek the Lord first. The Bible talks about how apart from Him, we can do nothing. It’s not that you can’t have a little success without God, the truth is that you will not truly WIN if you don’t spend time with Him.
I want to end this first blog by challenging you. I challenge you to either worship, pray, or read your Bible each day for the next week. I know it will bless you. We want to see you win and 2021. Will you? Love Y'all, Devyn Cheatwood
