Pastor Steven here, I am so excited to get to introduce the second part of our new series, Freedom! At Be the One, we know that it is important to meet the Father, because with out him we can never fully be free. It is important for us to realize these 3 things: 1. The Father’s promises still apply to us today
Isaiah 55:10-11 : For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. The Bible was written to the believer to reveal what God wants us to know. In the word, there is life and there is freedom. As we dive into scripture, allow your mind to be washed by His words. If you do, it will change your operating system. 2. The Father still answers prayers.
1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.
Our Heavenly Father wants to know us and better yet, hear us. In this series we are going to dive in deeper and learn about this more, but you are not alone.
3. The Fathers active presence in our life brings lasting freedom.
Revelation 21:3 "And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God."
Our hope for this series is that in meeting the Father, you find there is no better source of love imaginable. His active presence in our life makes the difference. When the Father stepped in, Adam and Eve were restored. When the Father stepped in, the Children of Israel were moved to a land of promise. When the Father steps into your life freedom will be the result.
