BE THE ONE MINISTRIES

Steven and Katie Sexton have a contagious passion for God and people. From a young age, both felt a strong call to full-time ministry. When they met, many of their conversations centered around what God was calling them to do in the future. After serving on staff at Christian Ministries Church and Brookhill Ranch Summer Camp for 20 years, Steven and Katie started Be the One Ministries Incorporated where they spent their time traveling and training the next generation of young believers. They love equipping young people and church leaders across the country and in Belize. This ministry has continued to soar over the years as more people have answered the call to “Be The One”.

Alexis Hood touched ministry for her first time on the first-ever Be the One Local Mission Trip. After graduating high school, she moved to Northwest Arkansas to attend college and to have a closer connection with Be the One. In February 2018, Alexis officially joined the team! She is gifted in pulling together BTO events by assisting in booking, planning, and running them. Alexis also has a bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Arkansas.

Adam Klausing had his life transformed by God while he studied engineering at the University of Arkansas. From that time on, he had opportunities to work with a number of different ministries. In June 2018, Adam left behind his engineering job to join the Be the One Team. He brings fresh excitement to our team and is always looking for the next challenge. After growing up in Kansas City, he is also a raging chiefs fan!

Devyn Cheatwood was introduced to Be The One in 2013, after attending a youth event that Steven and Katie Sexton were a part of. That following summer, he dived into going on local mission trips and eventually stepped into leadership. He and his wife Sydney are dedicated to raising up a generation of young people who live out more than just average Christianity! They also have a son, Malachi.

Mitch Holland was introduced to Be the One as a freshman in college, Summer of 2016 during the Local Trip. With the help of many mentors and ministry, He officially joined the team in the Spring of 2019! He has a huge calling to impact students to be all that God has called them to be and is gifted in many ways to achieve his God-given purpose. Mitch is a graduate of the University of Arkansas and loves all things ministry, music, and mental health!

Stephen Hill does all things music at Be The One!  Stephen has a talent for relating to people through vividly capturing the everyday realities of life. With a deep passion to see people pursue their dreams, Stephen hopes to deliver a message of hope and inspiration through his music.

Kyley Burns was introduced to Be the One for the first time in 2020 on her first local trip. On her first local trip she stepped into leadership and is now officially on the team! Kyley is gifted in  running our Creatives Department and Social Media! She is pursuing a degree in Public Relations and Advertising at the University of Arkansas.
