Rwanda is a beautiful country in East Africa, once known for the horrific events of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.  Rwanda’s tragic past has left a young population passionate about pursuing forgiveness, peace, and reconciliation.  Rwanda is a safe and clean country where many have been evangelized, but few have had the opportunity to see discipleship walked out.  Due to infrastructure and development, Rwanda has become a hub for commerce and education.  Rwanda is ripe for the harvest!  The Helmuth family felt called to plant Be the One Ministries in East Africa and moved to the capital city, Kigali, in 2023 with a vision: to teach Rwandan youth how to activate their faith, elevate their understanding of God’s truth, and cultivate their God-given gifts. Their launch began with a single connection, a university-aged student and ever since God has brought many into their home and hearts.
