Winning in 2021 (Part 3)

WINNING PART 3 Be The One Family, I’m so excited for part three of this email series: Winning. So far, we’ve covered two things you’ll need if you’re going to thrive. Those were: a personal relationship with God and having a vision for your life. I hope that over these last few weeks you’ve been able to take a few nuggets from this series and apply them to your life. So, now that you’ve started a consistent relationship with the Lord and you have some vision, what you’ll need next is MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS. This isn’t exclusive to the girl or guy you took out on Valentine’s Day either. Who you date is important, but that’s a topic for another email. There are really three key relationships every winner needs. Before I give you those, here’s what God has to say: Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” God’s Word tells us that we’re better together. We need others in our lives to help us get towards the goal. So what are these three relationships we all need? It’s simple; we all need a Paul (Mentor), Barnabas (Friend), and a Timothy (Follower). Paul is a spiritual leader who can speak into you and challenge you; Paul’s are typically older. Barnabas is a close friend who works alongside you and is most likely close in age to you. Your “Timothy” should be someone you’re investing in and is younger than you. When you find these meaningful relationships, you should set up regular times to meet with them. That’s my challenge for you this week. Maybe you already have some of these people but are missing one or two.
